Attack of the Doritos

As I took my midday nap I was disturbed by Uncle Fred. He was out on his lookout perch and started barking it up!

ok so he is not barking here, but this IS his lookout perch!

The daddy went outside to see what was causing all the basset-commotion. He came running back in and said there was an 'army of doritos' in the back yard. Woo Hoo!! Butter, Hannibal and me ran out on the back deck to watch while the momma and daddy went in the back yard to look at the army-of-doritos.

Well I looked and looked and I sure didn't see and dortios-not even any Cool Ranch or Limited Edition Taco Flavor. Butter started barking thinking he could get the doritos to come out of the bushes and I kept looking. Still nothing.

Then the screaming began. Yep, that's right SCREAMING!!! The momma was screaming like a banshee that an army-of-doritos was charging at her (I myself have never heard of an attck doritos unless it is one of those flaming hot ones).

Well something came running out of the woods and it sure didn't look like any army-of-doritos to me!

The daddy says thee were 2 of these new doritos but Uncle Fred scared one off. He claims this one wasn't really charging at the momma but he may just be saying that cause he didn't rescue her until after he took this picture.

I think I am switching to chili-cheese fritos 'cause these new doritos look hard to catch.

YESSSS Linda at PetSmart in Anderson SC!! How funny! She loved Calhoun. She called him a "beatable dog". He'd lean into her and she'd "beat" him on the chest!
